第一天：开始思考

阅读：出十八1-27

会堂是很好的组织形式，它们聚集多种资源，并集中这些资源去达成共同的目标，管理良好的教会所能成就的工作，远远多余任何个别教徒所能成就的。事实的确如 此。但现今有多少教会是有组织的呢？一些成功的牧者有意识的将自己的运作维持在一个很小的规模上，或者独立操作，因为他们觉得架构大并非好事。今天阅读的 经文向我们说明，情况未必是这样。

摩西领导如此众多的百姓，所产生的各种问题令他不知所促。他的岳父叶特罗开创了日渐兴盛的产业，他是历史记载的第一位管理顾问。他帮助摩西认识到组织与架构是有效运作的基本要素，不仅能使工作更有效率的完成，也是百姓能得到更好的服侍与支持。

当摩西仍就缺乏经验的领袖时，他就发现了组织架构的重要。这件事所体现的原则是：有效的领导能创造架构，培育追随者的身心健康。摩西挑选具有潜质的领袖， 训练他们并授权给他们，从而达到这个目的。摩西给我们的教导是：出现问题的时候，重要的领袖仍保持一定的控制权，做最终的抉择者，也能更妥善的满足他们的 需要。

值得注意的是，建立组织架构这个主意也并非出自摩西，而是出自他的岳父叶特罗。强而有力的领袖是平易近人的，只要能强化教会架构，他愿意给人改动自己教会架构的组织。你希望向谁寻求帮助强化你的教会架构呢？

  • Key leaders can still maintain control, and act as a final arbiter when problems arose, but through effective delegation a leader can multiply his or her effectiveness and better meet the needs of those who require personal attention.
  • A strong leader is approachable and willing to allow others to tweak the structure of his or her organization, if doing so will strengthen it.
