计划固然重要，但有时领袖也需要随机应变，善用机缘。保罗也是这样。阿布雷特（Karl Albrecht）提供了一些洞见，教我们如何可以做到。

Read Romans 15:22-29

• Planning is useful when you have CERTAINTY about the situation in which the actions will take place and nearly FULL CONTROL of the factors that ensure success in achieving your outcome.

• Planning (计划)  V.S.  Futuring (预见)

1. acknowledge an uncertain tomorrow
2. decide to pursue an adaptive and proactive strategy

• Once we’ve decided to adopt an active mental process that generates action strategies for capitalizing on the unfolding environment, we can devise plans to translate that decisions into manageable actions.

• ULTIMATE future & IMMEDIATE future (calling, visioning, futuring)

• Adapt strategies and approaches to each situation (is the way of transforming visioning into futuring).

• NEVER compromise your primary mission!

阅读：赛三十1-5

领导包含前进的意思。每位认真的跟随都都会问：[我们正朝什么方向走？]而每位尽责的领袖都要回答这个问题。但如果无人能够对将来有绝对把握，谁敢呼召其他人[来跟随我]呢？以赛亚书三十章1至5节说出领导过程中一个很重要的变数。

Read Isaiah 30:1-5

• “Where are we heading?” is a question which every responsible follower must ask and every responsible leader must answer.

• Wise leader knows how tentative the strategy really is. There’s inevitably an element of guesswork involved, because no one can see beyond THE NOW. (What shall we do then? PRAY!!! —before making a plan & after having made a plan)

• Do the plans reflect a dependence upon God? Ask the right question of: “Where does this plan depend on?”

• Be responsible (stewardship)

• Ultimate goal—honoring God

Long-range Planning Checklist

• The values, the vision, the mission, the strategic action plan and the projected outcomes are consistent with what God has revealed in His Word about ethics and justice.

• It reflects a dependence upon God.

• It develops people.

• Be responsible to the people you’re accountable for.

• It ultimately honors God.

随遇而安是好的，有时更是必需，但倘若我们人生大部分的方向都任由际遇和环境支配，后果就不堪设想了。常常胸怀长远的的目标来计划将来和评估表现是需要操练的，但这种操红必定使人有更大的发展自由。

Read Proverbs 6:6-8

• Planning and evaluating performance with long-term goals and objectives in mind requires discipline, but this discipline inevitably leads to greater freedom.

• Seek direction from the Spirit and counsel from godly people as we evaluate our plans.

• To save wealth without spending it as soon as we get it, to prepare for times of adversity during times of abundance, and to maximize opportunities while they last.

毫无疑问，神才是那最终的长远计划者。他的计划涵盖一切，从永远到永远，并延展到他管治的每个角落。从有限的眼光来看，人类的情况仿佛糟糕一片，但其实神仍掌管一切，叫万事互相效力，最终成就他的荣耀。请思想神所定下的长远计划。

Read Isaiah 37:26

• God’s active involvement in the affairs of people and nations is not capricious or reactive but purposeful and deliberate. His timing is perfect, and His purpose cannot be thwarted.

• God’s sovereign intentions exceed the boundaries of time and are consistent with the perfection of His character.

• God works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.

第一天：开始思考

阅读：创三15

展望那未可知的将来，是有效领导不可缺少的一环。虽然身为领袖的你，没有水晶球使你预知将来要发生的事，但是你可以（也应该）计划将来。

创世记三章15节记述神展示他预知未来的能力。亚当和夏娃犯罪堕落后，神就察看将来的岁月，并宣告必成的事。神明言蛇（撒但）和夏娃的后裔（基督）将会 [彼此为仇]。撒但将会[伤他的脚跟]，乃指基督在十架上痛苦受死。但事情并非就此结束。基督将会伤蛇的头。虽然当耶稣被钉死时，撒但好像得胜了，但至终 撒但才是这场属灵争战的失败者。

神远眺未来，看见自己得胜一切邪恶势力的荣耀。在伊甸园的一口禁果带来了无穷的邪恶势力，然而早在那时，神已揭示了一个救赎计划，许多年后在耶路撒冷城外一个十架上成就。身为最终的领袖，他确保人类历史朝向救赎的方向进发。

停下来想想你和你所带领的同工正朝着什么方向走。五年后或十年后，你和你的同工将会发展至什么地步？

• Plan with an expectation for yourself. Don’t plan or have expectations for God or others.

• God made certain that the direction of the history of the human race was headed toward our salvation.
